Whale Coast Web partnered with Kids Emotional Empowerment (KEE) to launch a crucial digital platform supporting their curriculum-aligned program. Developed by a cross-disciplinary team of educators and therapists, KEE needed a site that conveyed trust, academic rigour, and approachability. We engineered a high-impact, visually engaging website that clearly communicates the program’s value to parents and educators alike. By fusing strategic development with intuitive design and seamless social media integration, we created an essential digital asset that empowers KEE to reach their target audience and facilitate the emotional development of children aged 3-8 globally.
Challenges & constraints
The primary challenge was balancing the need for academic credibility (given the team’s professional background) with a visual identity that was approachable and engaging for both children and parents. KEE required a secure platform capable of delivering educational content while establishing immediate trust, all within a clean, intuitive structure that simplified access for educators seeking curriculum-aligned resources.

Our solution prioritised building a foundation of trust. We designed a bright, yet professional, user experience (UX) that uses a calming colour palette and high-quality, relevant imagery. The information architecture was structured to immediately highlight the credentials of the developers, ensuring parents and educators found the core value proposition and curriculum alignment details quickly and intuitively, which is critical for conversion.
The technical build focused on creating a secure, high-speed platform capable of supporting rich media content essential for an educational program. We developed a highly adaptable structure to support future curriculum expansion, integrating a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) that allows the KEE team to easily upload and manage resources. This technical agility ensures the platform remains a scalable educational asset.
