Talk with Toni

Talk with Toni is an HPCSA registered counsellor who works with clients online. The website had to feel like the practice: calm, clear, and easy to read on a phone.

What they needed

Toni-Ann Schneider is a counsellor registered with the HPCSA. She works online, in English or Afrikaans, with pre-teens, teenagers and adults, and she runs psycho-educational workshops for schools and businesses in the Western Cape.
Someone looking for a counsellor is deciding whether to trust a stranger with something difficult. The practical facts come first: what a session costs, how long it runs, whether medical aid is accepted, what happens in the first meeting. If those answers are not on the page, every enquiry starts as admin instead of the reason the person made contact.
A counselling practice is also not a crisis line. That had to be said plainly, without turning the rest of the page cold.

What we built

Four pages and a privacy policy: home, services, contact and booking. Home carries her HPCSA registration and degrees, the two services, a three-step explanation of how it works, and an FAQ that answers the money questions outright: R600 a session, EFT before the session, no medical aid, 24 hours notice to cancel or 50% is invoiced.
Services splits individual counselling into three age bands (10 to 12, 13 to 19, 19 and up) and workshops by setting: schools, business, online. It also names the three approaches she draws on: solution-focused brief therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and positive psychology.
Booking is the part we built rather than bought. Instead of a third-party scheduler, the site has a month calendar marking each day available or fully booked, hourly slots served from an availability endpoint, and a details step. A slot is held for 24 hours while the EFT clears.
  • Three-step booking flow with live slot availability and 24-hour provisional holds
  • Contact form with a honeypot field, sending straight to Toni's inbox
  • Crisis-line notice under the hero and in the footer, with the SADAG and Lifeline numbers
  • Structured data covering service types, languages, area served and session fee

What it does now

A visitor can check her registration, work out whether the service fits their age and language, read the fee and cancellation terms, and pick a date and time on the site. If they would rather talk first, the free 15-minute consultation is offered on every page, and the contact form sits on both the home and contact pages.
Bookings reach Toni with the date, time and client details attached. The fee, payment method and cancellation policy are on the page, so they need not be repeated by email. Her Instagram and Psychology Today profiles link from the footer, giving those listings a fixed place to send people.
